PRIVACY POLICY

1. WHO WE ARE
WINNAgility Planner ("the App", "we", "our") is a personal agility training planner.
Controller: Margaretha Kimberley Stam, based in Rättvik, Sweden.

2. WHAT DATA WE COLLECT
We collect only what's necessary to make the app work:
• Account data: name, email address (login + account identification)
• Dog profiles: name, date of birth, agility grade, optional photo
• Training data: plans, session scores, notes, competition schedules
• Device data: push notification token (only if you enable notifications)
• Technical data: timezone, language preference, app usage logs
• Payment data (Pro subscribers only): processed by Stripe — we never see your card details
 

3. LEGAL BASIS (GDPR)
We process your data based on:
• Contract — to provide the WINNAgility service you signed up for
• Consent — for push notifications and optional analytics
• Legitimate interest — for security and fraud prevention
 

4. WHO ELSE PROCESSES YOUR DATA
We work with these trusted service providers ("processors"):
• Base44 (app hosting, database, and file storage — servers in the United States; Base44 may use sub-processors such as Supabase for storage)
• Firebase by Google (push notifications — United States)
• Stripe (payment processing for Pro subscriptions, when available — United States and Ireland)

International data transfers: Some of these providers are based outside the European Economic Area. We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission to protect your data during international transfer.
 

5. WHY WE COLLECT IT
All data is used solely to provide the WINNAgility experience:
• Generating and displaying your training plans
• Sending training reminders (only if you opt in)
• Syncing your progress across devices
• Improving the app based on usage patterns

We do NOT sell your data. We do NOT share it with advertisers. We do NOT use it for any purpose outside what is described in this policy.
 

6. NOTIFICATIONS
If you opt in to push notifications, we send daily training reminders and competition alerts. You can disable notifications at any time in the Profile page or in your device's system settings.
 

7. HOW LONG WE KEEP YOUR DATA
• Active accounts: as long as your account exists
• Inactive accounts: 12 months after last login, after which we delete or anonymize the data
• Deletion requests: processed within 30 days
• Billing data: kept for 7 years (legal requirement)
 

8. YOUR RIGHTS
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
• Access — see what we have about you
• Rectification — correct inaccurate data
• Erasure ("right to be forgotten") — delete your account from Profile page
• Restriction — limit processing
• Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
• Objection — object to certain types of processing
• Withdraw consent — opt out at any time
• Lodge a complaint — with your local data protection authority (in the Netherlands: Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens; in Sweden: Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten / IMY)

9. CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS (CCPA / CPRA)
California residents have additional rights:
• Right to know what categories of personal information we collect
• Right to delete personal information
• Right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell or share your data)
• Right to non-discrimination for exercising your rights

10. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
WINNAgility Planner is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16 (or under 13 in the United States, under the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act). If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
 

11. SECURITY
We protect your data using:
• Encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) for all data in transit
• Access controls and authentication
• Secure cloud infrastructure
• Regular security reviews

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially reasonable means to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
 

12. COOKIES AND TRACKING
We use only essential cookies needed for the app to function (authentication, preferences). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
 

13. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. We will notify you of material changes through the app or via email. The "Last updated" date at the top of this policy reflects the most recent revision.
